We pride ourselves on precision. Every batch of Chi Town Quantum Coffee is roasted and calibrated for maximum flavor and quality. However, we understand that variables change, and sometimes an order doesn't go exactly according to plan.
Here is our official policy for refunds and returns.
1. The First-Order Guarantee (Your First Bag)
We want you to experience our coffee with zero risk. For the very first bag of coffee you purchase from us, we offer a complete satisfaction guarantee. If it doesn’t meet your standards, simply let us know. We will issue a full refund on that first bag—no return shipment required. We are confident in our product, and we want you to be too.
2. Standard Coffee Orders
Because coffee is a perishable food product, we cannot accept returns on coffee bags once they have been shipped. To adhere to strict food safety standards and maintain the integrity of our inventory, we cannot restock or resell returned coffee. We hope you understand that this protects the quality for everyone.
Exceptions are made only for damaged or incorrect items (see below).
3. Damaged or Compromised Shipments
While we package everything securely, we know that logistics can sometimes be unpredictable. If your order arrives damaged, we will make it right.
Reporting Protocol: You must report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
Document: Take clear photos of the damaged shipping box and the compromised product.

Details: Include your Order Number and the photos.
If we receive your report within the 48-hour window, we will review the details and dispatch a replacement immediately at no cost to you.
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping fees go directly to the carrier to cover transportation. Therefore, shipping costs are non-refundable.The only exception is if the return is caused by an error on our end (e.g., we shipped the wrong product).
5. Merchandise & Equipment
If you purchase non-perishable items (mugs, apparel, brewing gear) and need to return them, you may do so within 14 days of delivery.
Condition: Items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging.

Note: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
