Description: This isn't your grandma's Earl Grey, unless your grandma is awesome. We took a ridiculously good Ceylon black tea, hit it with authentic bergamot oil for that signature citrus kick, and added blue cornflowers because you deserve a tea that looks as good as it tastes. Go ahead, add milk. Your secret's safe with us; in fact, we might even approve. It's the classic, recalibrated.
Pairing Recommendation:
-
Meal: The undisputed champion of breakfast and afternoon tea.
-
Food: Pairs beautifully with scones and clotted cream, lemon-flavored cakes and tarts, shortbread cookies, or delicate finger sandwiches.
Brewing Method and Instructions: Use 1 tsp (about 2.5g) of tea for every 8-12 oz of water. Heat water to 205°F (just short of a full boil) and steep for 3-5 minutes. Go longer if you want a serious kick, shorter if you're just dipping your toes in. Winging it is also an acceptable, if chaotic, method we fully support.
